Painting and drawing are my specialties. I double majored in both disciplines at Fontbonne University for my B.F.A. and Arizona State University for my M.F.A.
I was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and began my formal training at the age of 10. My first teacher was Tess Lammers, a local Artist. I worked freelance as a muralist for residential customers, while in junior high school and high school. As a high school student and later as an undergraduate, I worked as a silk screen printer for a t-shirt company, a soda supply company, and a newspaper supply company.
After earning my Master of Fine Arts degree from Arizona State University, my husband and I stayed in Scottsdale, Arizona, where I continued to hone my painting skills while raising our children.
